How to Write a High Citation Journal Article

1.       Original Ideas（新穎的想法）

l  Have to focus on current “hot” directions

必須基于當今熱門的方向

l  Do not live in own bubble (follow other people work)

不要只停留在自己的靈感上（要跟隨別人的工作成績）

l  Remember that you are affecting ranking the journal

記住你會影響學術期刊的排名

u  By writing well cited article

通過引用合適的文獻寫好你的論文

u  By citing articles from the journal you submit your article

引用你所提交的雜志以前發表的論文

2.       Clear Description of the Ideas（對想法要表達清楚）

l  Nobody will cite your work if they cannot understand your article

如果人們各奔看不懂你的論文，那么根本沒有人會引用你的文章

l  Article has to be well organized and easy to follow

文章必須通俗易懂，容易被引用

l  Ask someone with OTHER area of expertise to read your article before submission

在提交之前讓其他專業的人看一看你的文章，看他能不能讀懂

3.       Attractive Title（吸引人的標題）

l  Title should be very concisely

標題應該非常簡明扼要

l  Title should consist as many key works as possible so search engines can find your article

標題應該包含很多搜索引擎容易搜索到的關鍵詞

4.       Well Written Abstract（把摘要寫好）

l  If abstract is not well written, then maybe nobody review your article, article will never be downloaded and read

如果你的摘要沒有寫好，那么可能沒有人對你的論文有興趣，你的論文可能永遠都不會被下載和閱讀

l  Do not write abstract in the last moment

不要到最后一刻才動筆寫你的摘要

l  Polish abstract again, again and again

一遍一遍，不斷重復的審查、修改、潤色你的摘要

l  Remember that abstract are used by search engines

切記！摘要是被應用在搜索引擎中的

5.       Subject of Wide Interest（興趣廣泛的領域）

l  Very good research article on narrow topic will not be well cited because only few people in the world can be interested in the subject

在狹窄的領域，即使再好的論文也不會被很好地陰影，因為在這個世界上只有非常少的人對這個領域感興趣

l  Highly cited articles are the ones which are interested for wide audience

經常被引用的論文是那種對大多數觀眾都感興趣的文章

l  Consider writing a state-of-the-ate article

考慮寫一篇大眾化的文章

6.       Must Be Within the Main Scope of the Journal Submitted（必須在期刊提交的最佳時間提交你的論文）

l  Article outside of the journal scope may not receive fair and objective review

在雜志審稿期之外發表的論文，可能不會得到公正、客觀的回復

l  Remember that the prime source of reviewers are authors of previously published articles in the journal submitted

記住，雜志的主要投稿人是以前在這個雜志發表過論文的作者

l  If article is publish in wrong journal it may left unnoticed

如果文章被發表在不合適的雜志上，這篇文章可能不會怎么引人注意

7.       Well Select References（合理的選擇參考文獻）

l  Have to follow current references (article without recent references-couple years are automatically rejected)

必須跟隨當今的參考文獻（如果你的文章沒有應用足夠的最近年份的參考文獻，那可能會直接被自動駁回）

l  Avoid second-sited references

避免重復引用參考文獻

l  Not too many self-cited references

不要有太多自引的參考文獻
