生死單元用途廣泛，可以實(shí)現(xiàn)在指定的分析步中移除指定區(qū)域單元，同樣也可以在之后的分析步中將移除的單元重新激活。

       幫助文檔這樣描述“Amodel change interaction allows you to deactivate and reactivate elements to simulate removal of part of the model, either temporarily or for the remainder of the analysis. You can create a model change interaction in all

Abaqus/Standard steps except for static, Riks steps and linear perturbationsteps. For a detailed discussion, see Element and contact pair removal andreactivation.”

       通過這段說明我們可以知道，生死單元的使用條件是：in all Abaqus/Standard steps except for static, Riks steps andlinear perturbation steps。

        生死單元在CAE界面實(shí)現(xiàn)方法為： create interaction》選擇需要移除或者激活的分析步 step并選擇model change，如下圖中選擇step-3使用 model change。

       點(diǎn)擊繼續(xù)之后，可選取相應(yīng)的區(qū)域來施加model change以及相關(guān)選項(xiàng)。

       下面這個(gè)案例簡(jiǎn)要的演示了model change的使用，該案例為一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的拉伸模型，僅為演示用法，并無特殊的工程意義，讀者在使用生死單元的時(shí)候可根據(jù)自己的實(shí)際工況加以靈活選用。本案例中在STEP-2中移除了長(zhǎng)方體模型中間的model change區(qū)域，然后在step-3中激活。
