Making single connected conduction region failed.  Please check the motion setup.  If a conducing region with a hole encloses the entire band, make this conductor be a solid conductor winding with zero voltage applied.  It may help to cover the surfaces of conducting region which are facing band with insulating boundary.  Also, there may be a problem with mesh, please check file 'bandmesh_msg'
